District Champs
10-0 BUFFALOES
At the end of last year, the Austin American Statesman ranked us number 3 in our district, their opinions started to change as the season progressed. We went from number 3 in district to not only number 1 in our district but also THE NUMBER ONE TEAM in Central Texas, 3a. When we became 8-0 we were the only team left in Centex that was still undefeated 1-5a. We were also chosen to be the number 2 team in Central Texas out of all schools, they thought we had what it takes to be a State Champ. The Buffs this year are 10-0 in the season and 5-0 district and have beat many teams that people didn't think could be beat. We have wrecked awesome teams such as Wimberley, Hutto, LaGrange, and Bellville not to mention 4a teams such as Waco Midway and Houston Kashmire. We have a lot of talent and if we play our very best we can be The Division II State Champions of 3a football in the State of Texas. We are the only 3a team that is undefeated in Central Texas, ranked number 1, and in the whole state of Texas we are ranked number 3. Right now we are the DISTRICT CHAMPS, because we beat the Bellville Brahmas in the DQ Game of the Week, and now that we have accomplished that goal we will move on to bigger and better things. We are the talk of a lot of towns surrounding Giddings, some trash, a lot of jealousy, every once in a while there is some is good, but no matter what people say about us we plan to keep our names in their mouth until we get our rings. No matter where we go we owe alot to ourselves and a lot to Coach Fitzhenry.
