The cheerleaders organize the pep-rallies and cheer at every football game and all of the home basketball games. The teams also attend cheer camps and perform in cheer competitions.

The camps they attended over the summer were at TCU in Denton. The squad received a bid to nationals. Both the JV and Varsity squads received superior ribbons each night. They also won the Spirit Stick. Varsity was nominated for top cheerleading squad.
