    The University that GHS students seem to attend the most is Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas.  It is a school that has a lot of opportunities and a beautiful campus.  The students that attend Sam Houston say that they feel at home at the campus.  The people are very loving and friendly.  The girl to guy ratio at this school is 5 to 1.

                  The second most popular University for Giddings' seniors is Texas A&M University in College Station.  It is a good college to go to because it is so close to home.   This university has a good school and it is safe to attend there.  They have excellent teachers there that give a great education.

        The University of Texas in Austin is also a choice for Giddings High School Seniors.  The campus is very large and it meets all the demands for the students who attend.  The teachers here are some of the best in the country, they are very helpful and treat the students with great respect.

           Blinn is located in Brenham, it is in the south central part of the state about 90 miles east of Austin, and 70 miles west  of Houston. And most students at GHS choose it because it is close to home.

Texas Tech is another college picked by many GHS graduates. Texas Tech offers many different of courses and degrees.  It is located in Lubbock which is more than a few hours from home.
