1. DON'T TOUCH MY STUFF!!!! When students enter the room they are not to touch any laboratory set ups or demonstrations unless or until instructed to do so. Students are not to open any drawers or cabinets without permission.

Mrs. Fromme attended Tarleton State in the Fall of '99 through the Fall of 2001,
Mrs. Fromme also attended Texas A&M of Spring 2002 through December 2004!!!

What are the courses you teach? |

IPC--Integrated Physics & Chemistry. It is basic Physics in the Fall and an introduction to Basic Chemistry in the Spring. |
*What is some of your history at GHS--how long have you taught at GHS, and how long have you lived in Giddings?*
Mrs. Fromme lives in Elgin!! She started here at GHS in August of 2005, so this is her SECOND year here and she absolutely loves it here!!!!

She loves how Giddings is a small town!!!

Mrs. Fromme loves Country and the OLD rock..:)!!!

Mrs. Fromme has one daughter, Grace Susan...and she has one ON THE WAY. She is due in JULY!!!

*Do your students do any projects during the year, if so please list what they are and what they have to do?*
1. "They make a poster in the fall covering Neuton's 3 Laws of Motions...they have to explain & give examples of 1 of 3 laws."
2. "We do a research project over noise pollution and how to eliminate it. Students have to come up with possible ways to minimize or eliminate noise pollution and then test them. When their experiment is complete, students name to do a full lab report."

Objective:
To see how science is integrated imto the fabric of everyday life, and for students to develop presentation skills for their professional careers.
Procedure:
1. Find a current newspaper, Internet, or magazine article on a topic relating to Science and or technology.
2. Make a copy or cut out the article.
3. Paste, tape, or staple the article to a piece of notebook or typing paper.
4. Summarize the article, by writing or typing 3-5 complete sentences.
5. Present article in front of the class; presentaion must last at least 60 seconds.
Timeline:
There will be 3 current event articles due each six weeks. To space them out evenly, one will be due every other Friday. Each article will count as a quiz grade.

Student Expectations

5. Scholastic Dishonesty will not be tolerated
Quizzes: There will be quizzes often. They will be in the form of short answer, matching, multiple choice and problems. The quiz will include the material covered that week in class. The purpose of weekly quizzes is to help students keep up on studying.
Homework: Homework will be assigned. Homework is a means of practice and to reinforce what is learned in class. Students are expected to turn in their own work. Homework not turned in on the due date will result in Homework Detention.
Tests: Tests will be 100% multiple choice. They will consist of 25-50 questions. Tests will count as 60% of your final grade.
Notebooks: You are expected to keep track of all of your work. You are responsible for all nots taken in class; they will be turned in for a test grade.
Homework Passes: Each student will be given 2 homework passes for the 6-weeks. Unused passes can be turned in with the notebook for extra points.
Absences: It is YOUR responsibility to get work you have missed.
